The purpose of this course is to allow students to acquire knowledge of descriptive statistics with quantitative data and to apply those techniques to relevant real situations from the social science literature.

It is intended that students acquire knowledge that allows them to understand some of the quantitative methodologies used in socio-economic and political studies.
