Sound and image aims to prepare students for creating, capturing and editing digital content in multiple formats: audio, image (still and moving), audiovisual and multimedia. Students are thus introduced to various digital applications and to the technologies that support them. At the end of the course, students should have acquired the theoretical and technical knowledge enabling them to exploit the capabilities of audio and of still and moving images as the main inputs to audiovisual and multimedia communication. Students are also expected to acquire skills to take advantage of the digital context for hosting and broadcasting content.
