Seminar: Social Work Contexts and Practices

3.5 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
  • Approach and explore the professional fields and contexts of Social Work;
  •  Develop students' critical-reflective capacity through such an approach and exploration;
  •  Identify and critically reflect on / on the particularities of the different modalities of social worker intervention;
  • Developing pre-professional attitudes, in face of current social problems;
  • To deconstruct and reflect on (pre) concepts and stereotypes socially granted to certain social groups;
  • Promote active participation in the learning process;
  • Apply work methodologies that promote individual and shared learning.
