At the end of the semester, each student must:

1. Understand what is knowledge, reality and their interrelatedness through philosophical reflection.

2. Know the specific problematic related to the definition of knowledge in its relation to what is understood as «reality». This shall be achieved through personal reflection and contact with fundamental theoretical positions within the scope of philosophical thinking.

3. Know the theoretical positions of the different authors under appreciation.

4. Work within the frame of a critical epistemological attitude.
