Communication and Artificial Intelligence

Students are expected to develop a sound range of knowledge, skills, and competencies at the intersection of communication and artificial intelligence. The learning outcomes of this course include: understanding the fundamental concepts and principles of artificial intelligence and its areas of applications in communication; gaining insights into the ways in which AI technologies, such as natural language processing AI generative, machine learning, deep learning, impacts on communication, namely organizational communication either internally or externally; developing a comprehensive understanding of the societal implications of AI and its transformative effects on professional and daily life; developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to the application of AI in communication scenarios; enhancing skills to explore the impact of AI on communication and identify potential challenges and opportunities; understanding ethical considerations surrounding the use of AI in communication; collaborating effectively in interdisciplinary teams to address challenges at the intersection of communication and AI.
