The researchers Catarina Duff Burnay and Nelson Ribeiro are the authors of the Yearbook of the Audiovisual Production Sector 2020, which presents an overview of the audiovisual production industry in Portugal.
Promoted by the Portuguese Association of Independent Television Producers (APIT), the report reveals a dynamic sector, despite being highly dependent on long-lasting fiction products. It also indicates a set of trends that will shape the sector in the coming years.
The report was publicly presented in early March in the presence of the Portuguese Secretary of State for Cinema, Audiovisual and Media and is now available online.
