On March 6, from 1pm to 1.45pm, in the Sala de Exposições (Library Building), the opening event of the PROTEUS Office - Promoting Success in University, led by Prof. Joana Carneiro Pinto and Prof. Susana Costa Ramalho, will take place.

The aim of PROTEUS Office is to support the academic path of UCP students by developing a set of mechanisms to promote their success, favoring the transition, integration and adaptation of students to this level of education. PROTEUS is located on the Lisbon campus and is based on individualized, confidential and free support, providing assistance to students in various situations of difficulties in adaptation, integration or academic failure.

At this event, a series of five workshops will be presented on topics relevant to adaptation to higher education. All students are invited to take part and will be granted 2 ECTS and a Diploma Supplement if they attend at least four workshops. Find out more here.

In addition to this series of workshops, the PROTEUS Office also offers a welcome manual for students from the Faculty of Human Sciences and another for students from other faculties, as well as a mentoring and tutoring program and the research "Student Adaptation to Higher Education".
