The Laboratory is designed for the development of academic skills for the scientific research at doctoral level. Thus, it will be privileged the consolidation and training of the following areas of competences:

• Bibliographic research in the review of literature — digital databases and other bibliographic resources and the use of software of bibliographic management;
• Familiarization with the principles, conventions, rules, style and strategies of academic writing (scientific articles and dissertations);
• Improvement of skills of composition of texts of scientific and technical nature; 
• Development of technical and operative competences of data analysis;
• Ethics in scientific research.
