Each student is to: recognize the specificity of the Philosophy of Religion field among the different curricular areas. At the end of the semester, each student is to able to sketch a personal theory of religion. This includes: the specific problematics related to the definition of religion as well as the philosophical reflections that endeavour to approach such a problematic framework; understanding the essence of religious experience, in its own semantics, in its own irreducible reality; grasping the theoretical positions of the different authors under appreciation; and working within the framework of a critical epistemological attitude.
