This course aims to examine the phenomenon of globalization in its evolution and in the complexity of its dimensions with a view to discussing in particular the cultural dimension of globalization taking into account the development and impact of contemporary media in a society in permanent and fast change as well as its implications to the configuration of individual and collective identities.
