Contemporary Portuguese Thinking

5 ECTS / Semester / Portuguese
This program focuses on facets fundamental to contemporary Portuguese culture and philosophy and correspondingly aims to provide as systematic an overview as possible, covering both the nineteenth and twentieth/twenty-first centuries and addressing and highlighting the unity of tradition and diversity in Portuguese thinking. This enables students to engage with the nineteenth and twentieth/ twenty-first centuries of Portuguese culture and philosophy while developing critical thinking and textual hermeneutics.
