To acquire specific knowledge about the underlying processes of human cognition. To analyse, for the different cognitive functions, the relations between extant theoretical models and the main empirical results obtained from research in cognitive science. To understand the importance of studying cognitive functions in the different dimensions of behaviour and human development.
