Professora Auxiliar da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (FCH) da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). É também investigadora de pós-doutoramento no Centro de Estudos em Comunicação e Cultura, e coordena a Pós-graduação em Comunicação e Media Sociais. Doutorada em Ciências da Comunicação, os seus interesses de investigação passam por temáticas como os media digitais, crianças com menos de 8 anos, comunicação mobile, marketing e relações públicas. É membro das ações COST eRead e DigiLitEY, do CEDAR - Consórcio em Tendências Emergentes em Estudos de Audiências, e do projeto da Comissão Europeia "Crianças (0 a 8 anos) e Tecnologias Digitais". É autora de "Viver na Sociedade Digital" (2014) e de "O Telemóvel e o Quotidiano" (2008).
