Neurologist at CUF Descobertas Hospital where she works in the Sleep Medicine Unit.
She did a fellowship at the Sleep Disorders Center of Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris. Somnologist title by the European Sleep Research Society and the Competence in Sleep Medicine given by the Portuguese Medical Association.
Her main interests in Sleep Medicine field are neurological sleep disorders, mainly abnormal behavior during sleep in movement disorders and, insomnia.
Invited lecturer of Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Saúde de Lisboa.
Author and co-author of several peer-reviewed papers in international journals and book chapters.
