Bio

Main research areas for Ingrid Zakrisson lie within the field of social and organizational psychology. Her focus is on stereotypes and prejudice and the effect of such cognitions on judgments and decisions about other people, as well as the impact on people’s judgments of themselves. Examples of research projects within this area are the effect of gender stereotypes on salary decisions, judgments of sexual harassment, evaluations of individuals and messages depending on accent and gender. Her teaching experiences lie also in these areas, as well as in research methods (both quantitative and qualitative) and research ethics.
