The seminar aims to convey the key methodological strategies supporting the study of cultural artefacts. While intent on enabling students to contextualize, interpret and critique the object of study and place it comparatively within the larger body of cultural studies, the seminar has an instrumental scope targeted at providing the conceptual tools and methodological strategies that enable them to engage in cultural analysis.
