Sofia holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Coimbra; post-graduate studies in Political Communication and Marketing from ISCSP-UTL; and a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Lisbon. She joined Porter Novelli in March 2008, where he currently serves as the Associate Director. She was communications director of a political party, where she was responsible for coordinating teams and communications strategy, their leaders, corporate communication and social networks, event organization, message definition and media training. She participated in the strategic definition of the municipal elections of 2013 and the European elections of 2014. She was a journalist for five years (Antena 1, Público, A Bola, Grupo Forum); Operational Marketing Manager (Forum Group, Warner Lusomundo); and Press Advisor at Euro 2004.
