The objective of this course is primarily to contemplate the unlikely match between economics and culture. In order to raise awareness of the economic dimensions within cultural activities, we approach this from both perspectives: How do economic concepts affect the production of cultural goods? What role does culture play in the field of economics? This furthermore relates all these concepts with the day to day management of cultural entities.
