Cristina Godinho holds a PhD in Psychology (specialty in Clinical and Health Psychology) by Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL) and is a Research Associate of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and collaborator of CRC-W: Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing. She is also Deputy Director of the Portuguese National Program for Physical Activity Promotion from the Director-General of Health and a lecturer in the Psychology graduation course, in the post-graduation in health communication and several master courses. Her research interests revolve around the promotion of health behaviour change (e.g., healthy eating, physical activity, vaccination) through the development and evaluation of interventions and communication strategies. She has an extensive experience and collaboration in national and international research projects, namely with teams from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), Kent State University (Ohio, United States) and University College London, where she has previously worked as a Research Associate. Cristina Godinho was Editor-in-Chief of the Psychology, Community & Health journal (PsychOpen) and has authored more than twenty papers in international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters on the topics of behaviour change interventions in the scope of public health and on the psychological determinants of healthy eating and physical activity.
