Program Description
The Master’s Degree in Family Sciences integrates into the educational provisions of the Católica-Human Sciences Institute of Family Sciences and confers the only Master’s Degree title awarded in Portugal in this field.
Spanning different fields of study in different areas ranging from Psychology, Law, Sociology, Family Risk Contexts, Family and Family Mediation Policies, the program seeks to convey a transdisciplinary approach to specialist training and education under the auspices Family Sciences and correspondingly developing lines of research and interventions in this area as well as contributing to deepening scientific knowledge on the Family.
This Master’s Degree is thus designed for professionals, recent graduates and the public in general seeking complementary, specialist training in the field of Family Sciences and of particular interest to social service workers, psychologists, jurists, magistrates, etc.
