On Saturday, May 30, a debate entitled “The Jewish Community in Portugal: Memory and Identity” will take place, focusing on the book Jewish Renewal in Portugal: Identity, Memory, and Return by Joshua Noah Azriel.

This session is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., at the Lisbon Book Fair (Yellow Square/Praça Amarela), and will feature Joshua Noah Azriel, author; André Falcão, President of the Ohel Jacob Synagogue (Lisbon) and Associate Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Lisbon; and Peter Hanenberg, Vice-Rector for Research and Doctoral Education at UCP, as moderator.
