FCH-Católica welcomed more than 250 international students at the beginning of the academic year, who chose the School of Human Sciences of Universidade Católica Portuguesa to undertake a semester or an academic year as part of exchange and mobility programs.
Coming from 38 countries, the students are now part of an increasingly international academic community, bringing different languages, experiences and perspectives to the classroom and to the school’s life.
During the Welcome Session, FCH-Católica’s Dean, Catarina Duff Burnay, welcomed the new students, highlighting the School’s global outlook and the role of diversity in the university experience.
The mobility experience therefore represents an opportunity for learning that extends beyond the academic context, fostering contact with different cultures, perspectives and ways of understanding society.
By choosing FCH-Católica for this experience, Exchange students also become part of an academic community with more than five decades of history and a growing international vocation.
