Mariana Reduto, a 2nd year student on the undergraduate degree in Communication and Cultural Sciences, is the new Ambassador for the EU Careers Student Ambassadors programme at FCH-Católica.

"It is with great enthusiasm that I take on the role of EU Careers Ambassador for the next academic year 2025/2026. I want to help make FCH-Catholic students aware of the various career opportunities in the institutions of the European Union, supporting them in preparing for their professional future. I feel motivated to be part of this network that promotes the exchange of knowledge and the development of young talent" says a visibly enthusiastic Mariana.

As an Ambassador, she will have to attend a training session in Brussels in October (the same month as the investiture for 2025/2026) and will be the point of contact for FCH-Católica students who want to find out about career opportunities (internships or jobs) that exist in EU organizations and agencies throughout Europe. Some of the main roles are:

  • Develop university networks and provide information on EU jobs,
  • Give presentations, attend university career events and find interesting speakers,
  • Answer questions about career opportunities with the EU,
  • Set up mailing lists and distribute information about EU jobs through the appropriate channels.

The EU Careers Student Ambassadors programme has grown progressively over the last few years, with Ambassadors from more than 150 universities in different EU member states.
