FCH-Católica is preparing to welcome Professor Cecilia Serrano Martínez, Full Professor at the University of La Rioja, for a masterclass dedicated to the future of social work: “Rethinking Social Work: Creativity, Innovation, and Leadership to Address Contemporary Challenges.” Scheduled for September 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the Exhibition Room, the event also serves to officially mark the opening of the academic year for the Social Sciences field.

At a time marked by profound social, technological, and cultural transformations, the event offers an in-depth reflection on the need to reinvent professional practices. The goal is to explore the role of creativity, participation, and leadership in building collaborative and sustainable responses to contemporary challenges.

The session also aims to strengthen international scientific cooperation between the two universities, fostering a unique meeting place for students, faculty, researchers, and professionals in the field.
