Understand family mediation in a theoretical and practical perspective through knowing how to apply the strategies of mediation and properly integrate the underlying concepts and interdisciplinary knowledge to the family mediation process. Identify the main objectives of each stage in the family mediation process and recognize the respective instrumental and substantive limits. Develop and elaborate agreements reached in the context of family mediation, including agreements relating to divorce and regulating the exercise of parental responsibilities in accordance with the statutory goals imposed by the legal system. Direct a process of family mediation and marital mediation for reconciliation. Grasp the models of inclusion of children in family mediation and know how to evaluate the relevance of their practical application as a principle of reference to the best interests of the child.
